Chicago, IL – We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our friends and supporters a Happy Thanksgiving. The holiday season reminds us of the importance of giving to others and encouraging one another, and in that spirit, the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation is eager to assist exceptional students through its scholarship awards. The Foundation is currently accepting applications from eligible undergraduate students of Hellenic descent for its awards.
The Foundation will offer $250,000 in scholarships to support the educational pursuits of exceptional young people. The application deadline is February 1, 2016. Scholarship awards are offered at two levels:
- Twenty (20) Awards of $10,000 each based on academic achievement and financial need. Two out of the twenty $10,000 awards will be offered exclusively to music and arts majors.
- Twenty (20) Awards of $2,500 each based solely on academic achievement.
Please share this opportunity with Greek American college students. Awards are offered to recognize undergraduates who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance, as well as to provide meaningful support to those with serious financial need.
Apply now. We look forward to receiving your application!
The Foundation is preparing for its next event in memory of our Founder, Chris P. Tomaras. Please save the date for the Awards Ceremony & Gala to be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at The Ritz-Carlton in Chicago, IL, where we will distribute the scholarship awards.
