The Community League at St. Mary Medical Center Announces The Grand Opening of Community Aid Refurbished Equipment Store (CARES) And
Re-furbished Thrift Shop

Blessing and ribbon cutting ceremony will take place May 9.

LANGHORNE, Pa., April 29, 2016The Community League of St. Mary Medical Center is pleased to announce that onTuesday, May 9, from 10 to 11 a.m., the Community Aid Refurbished Equipment Store (CARES) and the re-newed, re-freshed, and re-furbished Thrift Shop will host their grand opening blessing, ribbon-cutting, and celebration. Both stores are located at 140 North Pine Street (Route 413), Langhorne, in the Pine Watson Shopping Center. CARES will serve as a community benefit to provide area residents in need with refurbished medical equipment such as wheelchairs, crutches, hospital beds, scooters, canes, and more.

Through CARES, area residents who have a temporary or permanent medical need and are not able to afford equipment now have a place to obtain costly items free of charge. Those who receive CARES refurbished equipment may re-donate it when no longer needed, so the cycle of giving can continue.

If you wish to make a donation of gently used medical equipment, CARES gratefully accepts:
