February 11, 2016 (Springfield, Pa) – Crozer-Keystone Health System recently chose eight employees as a recipient of its Employee of the Quarter award. Employees received a framed certificate for their accomplishment and a $100 check courtesy of the health system.

The winners were selected from over 60 employees nominated for this award. Here are the eight employees selected, along with an excerpt from their nomination.

  • Stephanie Jervey, medical receptionist for Crozer Pediatrics, a Crozer-Keystone Health Network practice
  • “A mom brought her child to the practice and upon checking in for asthma symptoms, Stephanie noticed the child was struggling to breathe.  Stephanie knew the child was in distress and immediately alerted the medical team to help the child, who indeed was in a medical crisis. Emergency procedures were initiated and 911 was called. The team stabilized the patient and calmed the fears of the mother, and the child was taken by ambulance to the emergency room where he received further care. Because of Steph’s attentive nature and keen perception, a potential more significant medical event was preempted. It’s this type of dedication and core values that Stephanie demonstrates daily that makes her an exceptional team member.”
  • Jennifer Dietz, Sr. Medical Records Clerk, Crozer-Keystone Home Health and Hospice
  • “She is a very hard worker that is dependable, bright, motivated, and she takes charge of the situation. Her primary responsibility is to track a high census of physician orders on a daily basis, and recently she developed a best practice to create more efficient results.”
  • Lisa Barnett, RN, nurse in the emergency room at Taylor Hospital
  • “Lisa is a leader for change.  She is a champion of the ER department and takes responsibility to ensure  the ER is always in compliance.”
  • Sharon Sponheimer, RN, nurse on the Step-down Unit at Crozer-Chester Medical Center
  • “She sets a good example with possessing a positive attitude every day she walks through the doors of Crozer. She has a great work ethic and takes value and pride in any job she is asked to do.”
  • Denise DiTomasso, Intensive Case Manager, Adult Blended Program at Community Hospital
  • “She is dedicated to client care. Denise is also a wonderful person that does everything and anything to be a team player.”

  • Lucinda Goodman, RN, Staff Nurse, Crozer Endoscopy Center at Brinton Lake
  • “Lucinda is compassionate and always goes above and beyond for her patients.  She is dependable and well-liked by her co-workers.”
  • Stephanie Briddes, PT Assistant, PM&R at Springfield Hospital
  • “Stephanie is so quick to help all her coworkers, and she always makes time to talk with her patients. She makes time even when time isn’t there.”
