Media, PA…November 24, 2015The Delaware County Community Foundation (DCCF), which supports charitable giving in the county through grant making, charitable vehicles, fund management, and community resources, recently elected TY McGillberry, John Reilly, CFA, and Joe Saunders to its Board of Directors.

“DCCF is honored to have such accomplished Delaware County leaders join the board,” said Iris Leon, executive director of DCCF. “They each bring unique experiences that will complement the talents of our existing Board members. Like DCCF, what they share is a commitment to making our community stronger. We are thrilled to have Ty, John and Joe join us in that effort.”

McGillberry is a financial advisor for Wechsler Marisco Simpson, a comprehensive financial services firm in Media. Prior to that, he worked as a financial adviser for The Vanguard Group. Ty has been an adjunct professor of Marketing at Penn State Brandywine and has served as the President of the Penn State Brandywine Alumni Society. He also served on the board of the Rocky Run YMCA in Media. McGillberry received his BA in Business Administration, Marketing and Management, as well as his MBA, from Penn State University. He currently resides in West Chester.

Reilly is a Vice President at 1919 Investment Company. Prior to working at 1919, he was with Scudder Private Investment Counsel and Deutsche Bank Private Banking. Reilly graduated with a degree in finance from Lehigh University and an MBA from Villanova University. He resides in Swarthmore.

Saunders is a retired health care industry professional whose work experience includes servinig as President of Crozer Chester Medical Center, Vice President at Presbyterian Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and Jefferson University Hospital. Joe started his healthcare career in U.S. Armed Forces. He serves on various boards in the community, including the J. Lewis Crozer Library and the Colonial Plantation in Ridley Creek State Park and is Chair of the Board of The Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired. He is a volunteer guide for WXPN radio’s Musicians on Call, which brings music to hospital patients. Saunders received both his undergraduate degree and MBA from Temple University. He resides in Springfield, Delaware County.
