Hermes Expo International will celebrate 25 years with its 2016 Expo and awards dinner Tuesday, April 5 at the Concordville Inn & Best Western Hotel Conference Center, Route 322 and Route 1 in Concord Township.

The international trade show and exhibition, which will begin at 9 am, provides a business- to- business networking and educational opportunity to promote commerce, communications and culture with businesses from North America, Southeastern Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean.  Individuals, groups and business owners from around the region and around the world gather to expand business connections and gain valuable contacts. Business leaders from diverse industries and professional services are offered a unique platform to showcase their products and services in front of potential customers from all around the United States and Europe.

This year, six individuals in the Greek-American community will be honored: Mario J. Civera, Jr., chairman of Delaware County Council; Dr. Lazarus Kkrifides, OB/GYN; Nikos Papadopoulos, president, Colonial Marble and Granite; Kostas Kalogeropoulos, president TKD Hospitality Group; George Moniodis, retired school board director and board member of St. Agnes Foundation; and Kaliope Parthemos, chief of staff, Baltimore mayor’s office. The awards dinner, immediately following the trade show, will be held at 5:30.

Also, a presentation of the Eleftheria Scholarships will take place in the Grand Ballroom.  Over $20,000 in scholarships will be awarded to Greek-American high school and college students.
