The inclusion of the Municipality of Alexandroupolis in the “WHO Global Network for Age-friendly Cities and Communities” network of the World Health Organization, the municipal authority announced on Friday.
It is the first municipality in Greece to become a member of the network. “The Municipality of Alexandroupolis takes special care of the elderly, as a large percentage of them experience loneliness, in the absence of a supportive environment.
