FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – Daughters of Penelope Narcissus Chapter 289 held their 4th Virtual Bingo game on Friday, February 12 to entertain the community and support their church, St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

For those who did not join us what a great time you missed!! Lots of laughs and new game challenges by our “Mona the Magnificent” Bingo Caller!! It was so nice to see our old friends and to have a few new players too!!

A Cupid’s Arrow game and a Diamond game each followed by a Coverall and 5 regular games!! Challenges indeed!! We had 25 players including our “Secret Weapon” AHEPA District 6 Secretary Chris Pappis, AHEPA Past Supreme Governor George Karatzia, Citrus District 2 Lt. Governor Eftyhia “Effie” Kirkiles, St. Demetrios Parish Council President George Georgakakis and many other players!  We had 11 winners who received gift cards to Amazon, Target, McDonald’s, Starbucks, Panera, Subway and Dunkin Donuts. 

Thank you to everyone who joined in and had so much fun! All proceeds continue to be donated to St. Demetrios. The chapter invites everyone to join them on Friday, March 12 at 7:30 pm via Zoom. They will have a Virtual St. Patrick’s Day theme with interesting challenges so be sure to join them!!
