November 12, 2015 (Springfield, Pa) – Crozer-Keystone Health System recently chose eight employees as a recipient of its Employee of the Quarter award. Employees received a framed certificate for their accomplishment and a $100 check courtesy of the health system.

 

The winners were selected from over 60 employees nominated for this award. Here are the eight employees selected, along with an excerpt from their nomination.

  • Kathleen Farrell, RN, nurse, Emergency Department at Crozer-Chester Medical Center
  • “She is often seen helping other staff members and is always willing to learn. Kat is always seen with a smile on her face and takes the time to answer family member’s questions. Kat is a great nurse.”
  • Dorothy Reid, adult-based outpatient mental health, Community Hospital
    • “Dorothy consistently exceeds expectations and she has a pleasant, cooperative attitude that is shown to colleagues and clients alike.”
  • Laurie Gilbert, medical receptionist, Brinton Lake Medical Imaging
    • “Laurie is a very hard working and pleasant person that gets along with everyone she works with. Even when she is busy she will take the time to help you.”
  • Ramona Cyler, information systems analyst III, Crozer-Keystone
    • “Ramona is a consistent hard worker that rises to challenges by regularly accepting new tasks. What makes her most special is that she does all this with a personality that is delightful, caring and thoughtful. It is a joy to work with her.”
  • Kathleen Muckenfuss, social worker, Springfield Hospital
    • “Kathleen is a kind, caring person that will go the extra mile to ensure that her patients and their families get everything they need before leaving the hospital.”
  • Sandra (Sandy) Cantor, clerical specialist, Sports Medicine at Barclay Square and Delaware County Memorial Hospital
    • “With her impressive work ethic, loyalty and drive to complete every task, Sandy goes beyond the call of duty every day. She handles a lot and is always helpful.”
  • Karen Henderson, medical receptionist, Osteoporosis Center of Delaware County
    • “Karen goes above and beyond for all patients. She is cheerful, professional, polite, extremely efficient and hard working. When she answers the phone, it truly sounds like she is smiling!”
  • Marci Winiarz, physical therapist, Taylor Hospital
    • “Marci is a great advocate for PT, and she provides exceptional clinical care.”

 

Non-management Crozer-Keystone employees from all hospital sites, outpatient services sites and Crozer-Keystone Health Network offices are eligible for the Employee of the Quarter award that recognizes those employees who day in, day out serve as a wonderful example for their co-workers in one or more of the following ways:
