(Drexel Hill, Pa) – On June 4 at 3 p.m., Delaware County Memorial Hospital will host the 12 winners of the 2015 Lansdowne Avenue Art Contest to recognize and honor their artistic talents. Students from Upper Darby High School and Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast High School submitted artwork for this contest that had the goal of choosing three pieces of art to be displayed permanently within the hospital. All 12 pieces of art, including the 9 honorable mention winners, will be on display throughout the summer in the hospital cafeteria.

Those expected to attend include 12 High School students; Tracey Rush, principal of Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast High School; John Lenge, art department of Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast High School; Richard Dunlap, superintendent of Upper Darby School District; Ed Roth, principal of Upper Darby High School; Ellen Flocco, art department chairperson for Upper Darby High School; Robert J. Haffey, president of Delaware County Memorial Hospital and Crozer-Keystone Health System administration.
