Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis congratulated in person Greek athlete Antonis Tsapatakis, who won silver in 100-meter breastroke at the Paralympic Games in Paris.
Pierrakakis, who is in Paris for a UNESCO conference on artificial intelligence in education, was able to follow the race live. Following Tsapatakis’ achievement, he posted a photograph on social media and said he was “honored to watch the race live and to thank him for the lesson of will and strength he shows us.”
The minister also thanked the president of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee, George Kapellakis, and the entire Greek team “who make us proud every day!”.
