Former MEP (Member of the European Parliament) to Speak on Campus

European Union Center would like to invite you to a question and answer session with former European Parliament Member Michael McGowan on Thursday, October 29. The event will take place in 1065 Lincoln Hall at 4:30pm and free pizza will be provided. Mr. McGowan will give a brief introduction to the EU, discuss current events such as the refugee crisis, and then take questions on any topics relating to the EU or his work as a journalist.
Former MEP Michael McGowan of the UK was the president of the Committee on Development and Cooperation, and is an expert on the international relations of the European Union. He is also a former journalist and broadcaster with BBC television and radio.

Mr. McGowan’s visit is organized by the European Union Center. Generous support for Mr. Michael McGowan’s visit is also provided by the European Parliament Former Members Association through its “EP to Campus” programme, which is in part sponsored by CANDRIAM.
