A unique Indian Orthodox concert was presented to international Greek educators on May 8th by The Federation of Greek Teachers of America, Office of Greek Education of the Holy Archdiocese of America and associates. The Malayalam version of the Greek Orthodox Sacred Chant to Holy Virgin Mary by Fr John Samuel, a Priest of the ancient Indian Orthodox Malankara Church was seen. The Indian Orthodox Church was founded by the Apostle Thomas, who spoke Greek, the international language established by Alexander the Great and the Roman/Byzantine Empire. During the May 8th program, educators asked to hear “Agni Parthene” concert again. Because of a shortage of time, the moderator was not able. This inspired my research on utube for the concert link.
