The Legislative Content Act with the urgent provisions to strengthen integrity in the operation of the National Intelligence Service (EYP) was published on Tuesday evening.
It provides, among other things, that the appointment of the chief of the intelligence service is carried out following the consent of the competent committee of the Parliament, in accordance with the provisions of its Regulations, and that the obligation to provide a consent in accordance with par. 1 also concerns the head of the Service at the time of the publication of the Act.
Moreover, the monitoring of communications, letters, etc. also requires the final approval by the Appellate Prosecutor.
