Mariyana Spyropoulos currently serves as Commissioner at the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago. She is also an attorney with the Chicago firm of Law Offices of Mariyana Spyropoulos & Associates and works in the area of real estate, criminal and general business practice. Mariyana received her law degree from The John Marshall Law School and her MBA from Loyola University Chicago.
On October 6, 2015, she was inducted into the John Marshall Law School Hall of Fame.
“I would just say that I am humbled a thankful for the honor of being included on the hall of fame with so many judges and other elected officials who have served with distinction. John Marshall Law School has provided me and so many with the opportunity to become an attorney. The skills I learned at the school have served me well in many areas of my life. It’s an honor to be recognized in this way”, Mariyana expressed to the Hellenic News of America.
