Hellenic News of America invites you to celebrate 30th Anniversary on Sunday, November 12, 2017

For 30 years, the Hellenic News of America has been your guide and companion to all things happening in the Hellenic community.

We’re celebrating those 30 years with a Nov. 12, 2017 gala dinner and awards reception featuring the Greater Philadelphia premier performance of Greek singer and musician Dimitris Basis, along with Aphrodite Daniel & Orchestra. The gala will take place at The Merion, in Cinnaminson, NJ starting with a 4:00 PM Reception.

Keeping true to its mission of supporting charitable, educational and non-profit organizations, the Hellenic News will offer $5,000 of the proceeds from the gala, to three non-profit organizations–The Ronald McDonald House-Greek division of NY, the Greater Philadelphia Cancer Foundation and the MAGAF Scholarship awards, that gives yearly scholarships to needy students.

The HNA 30th Anniversary Committee along with the Chairs of the event: Drs Spiro and Amalia Spireas, will honor the following Hellenes and PhilHellenes (Archon Michael Psaros, Cofounder & Partner of KPS, Nancy Papaioannou, President of Atlantic Bank, John Koudounis, CEO Calamos, Professor Marina Angel, Temple University Emerita, Dr. Michael PapaioannouIMF International Monetary Fund, Mike Pantelides, Mayor of Annapolis, MD and Philanthropist Eleni Bousis and all the Contributing Editors of HNA) who are dedicated to Hellenism in America and the sustainability of their communities, followed by entertainment by singer Dimitris Basis from Greece. The anniversary highlights decades of stories from the Hellenic News of America, covering the roots and passions of the Hellenic community, while perpetuating Hellenic principles and ideals.  Founded in 1987, the newspaper successfully filled a void in the Greek community, giving them a voice, linking the Greek communities together, here at home and abroad; covered on print, web, and social media.

To sustain its commitment of informing and enlightening Hellenes, Hellenic News of America welcomes the support of the community through its gifts, subscriptions, and advertisements to the newspaper and to its annual business event, the Hermes Expo. Only by working together can we continue to offer this vital service in the many years ahead.

Please plan to join us in the celebration and stick around for the next 30 years. The best is still ahead.    For more information, sponsorship packages, advertising, subscriptions and tickets please contact 610-446-1463 or e-mail: info@hellenicnews.com and visit our web www.hellenicnews.com
