Astoria, NY (April 26, 2017) – Emmy Award winning television broadcasters, Costas Theocharopoulos, Yanna Darilis and Bob Shewchukhave teamed up to create Prometheus Project Foundation, a non-profit organization in Astoria, New York, to produce and distribute Hellenic-themed educational content for television, film and web platforms to support, promote and preserve Hellenic education, culture, traditions and democracy in the United States.

 

The foundation will also offer media assistance to nonprofit and educational organizations in the United States.

TV Projects currently in development include: “Diners: The History of Greeks in the Diner Business,” “My Greek Kitchen”, “Athena and Yanni,” a language series teaching children Greek and English using puppet characters, Greek Orthodox religious topics for young families, and “Women of Destiny.”
