According to Minister of State Akis Skertsos, “the seamless implementation of the ‘Greece 2.0’ project and its protection from the sterile pre-election confrontation, as well as the slowdown that traditionally characterizes government work before the elections, has an ‘existential character'”.
He explained in an interview to newspaper ‘To Vima’ on Sunday that the plan protects the country from the shocks that the international economy is currently experiencing due to the Russian war and the unprecedented energy crisis, while it contributes to the sustainable growth of our national income.
In detail, he said that “last Friday, the government completed earlier than expected all 28 reform and investment milestones linked to the disbursement of an additional 3.56 billion euros from the Recovery and Resilience Fund within 2022. Overall, Greece will have collected 11.1 billion euros from the European Recovery and Resilience fund and will have disbursed close to 2 billion euros in the real economy by the end of December.”
