After the 9th International Chian Convention, the Chios Societies of America & Canada recognized the generous donation of 2000 trees for reforestation from Michael and Robin Psaros.
Members of the CSAC, Supreme President Dimitri Kalafatis, Past Supreme Presidents Stefanos Bouboulis and Dimitri Kontolios with the Volunteer Fire Brigades of Ionia and Lithi watered some of the trees planted in South Chios.
George Amygdalos, who first brought awareness in America to the needs of the firefighters, was honored with an icon Agia Markella.
