Arianna Huffington unveiled HuffPost Greece at a press conference held earlier today in Athens, calling the launch “the ultimate homecoming.”
HuffPost Greece will be the 12th site in The Huffington Post’s ongoing international expansion; HuffPost now reaches half of the world’s GDP. The Huffington Post attracts 119 million unique visitors (comScore, U.S. visitors, October 2014), making it the #1 news site in the U.S. More than one third of U.S. residents read The Huffington Post (comScore).

The Greek-language site was launched through a collaboration with 24MEDIA, the largest digital media publisher in Greece. HuffPost Greece will be an incisive mix of original reporting, investigative journalism, and thought provoking blogs from the Greek community.
