AHEPA Lt. Governor George N. Petrakakis honorably represented the District 5 Lodge on Saturday, December 12, 2015 during the Holiday Tour of the Governor’s Residence located in beautiful historic Princeton, NJ.
Drumthwacket is the official residence of the Governor of New Jersey since 1981. The mansion is located at 354 Stockton Street, Princeton, NJ and is an important part of our state’s history and culture; and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The residence was beautifully decorated throughout and filled with lots of Christmas spirit. Student musicians played to the delight of guests.
The Governor and First Lady were not present, however the Governor’s Aides and interns were available to assist guests. The tour was limited to the stately six rooms on the first floor of the two-and-a-half story mansion.
