The autopsy of the body of British BBC presenter Michael Mosley, who went missing on Thursday and was found dead on Sunday morning on the island of Symi, will take place at the hospital of Rhodes on Monday.

A coroner has already arrived on the island and according to initial information he appears to rule out the possibility of foul play.

The same sources said that the coroner could not determine from the outset whether Mosley fell of the cliff, because the body is in advanced decomposition.

The body of the 67-year-old TV and radio personality was found at a rocky area and nearly 10 metres from the sea, at the Aghia Marina area. Found next to his body was an umbrella Mosley was carrying the day he went missing, while he was also wearing a digital watch.

Additionally, the body was found in a supine position, with the left hand on the chest.
