Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, I had the honor of meeting with Connie Pilallis, the Grand President, and Elena Saviolakis, the Executive Director of the Daughters of Penelope in my Washington, DC office.
I sincerely appreciate the wonderful work that the Daughters of Penelope do all around the world. Connie and Elena gave me a thorough overview of their recent trip visiting their chapters in Greece, as well as updates on their Domestic Family Violence Centers across the country. I commend their continued efforts sponsoring affordable and dignified housing for senior citizens, as well as medical research for breast cancer, Thalassemia, and many other diseases. It was an honor to spend time with them, and I look forward to working closely with them in the future.
