Greek-American Chippendale performer Kyle Efthemes chatted with HNA about the 2021 Chippendales “All-Star Calendar,” where he is spotlighted as the model for January, thus kicking off the New Year 2021.

Retired four-star U.S. Army general and former Secretary of State Colin Powell once said: “A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work.” An individual who epitomizes this quotation well is Kyle Efthemes.

On being a part of the 2021 All-Star Calendar, he said, “I didn’t know about this until all of the voting was done. I had no idea until after the fact. It was an honor. There were a lot of great guys they could have picked, and with some of those pictures of those guys, I wondered why they picked me for sure.”

“I can’t wait to see the actual calendar once I get my hands on one. That would be cool,” he added. “This recognition in the 2021 All-Star Chippendales Calendar is really exciting.”

On his daily motivations, Efthemes said, “I am ready to get back in the real world and do my job. Isn’t it so tough to stay motivated right now? For me, motivation each day is finding something new to do and something new to learn and trying to do it. If I want to be motivated, I have to do it myself, it won’t just come to me in some sort of spark.”

During the winter and holidays, he acknowledged that he has a sweet tooth for cookies. “We love all sorts of different cookies,” he said.

He shared that he spent his quarantine remodeling his house, and getting things the way he wanted them. “I taught myself a lot: tearing walls apart, building them back up, tearing carpets and cabinets apart and building them back up,” he said.

On the title of the current chapter of his life, Efthemes said, “COVID continued.”

If he were to do any track and field event, he shared that he would do the long jump and the shot put. “I wasn’t a fast runner but I could jump,” he said.

Efthemes defined the word success as “being happy at the end of the day, especially during this quarantine.” “There is nothing I am striving for at this point,” he said. “As long as I am fulfilled, that’s success to me. Peace of mind.”

For his fans, Efthemes said, “First of all, thank you! Hopefully, this new year will quite interesting compared to the last year. Stay tuned for now.”
