May 16, 2016 (Broomall, Pa) – CK Urgent Care at Broomall has met the established criteria to be named a Certified Urgent Care by the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA), a membership association representing professionals that work in urgent care centers. The center in Broomall provides patients walk-in and extended-hour medical attention with licensed Crozer-Keystone Health System providers for a large scope of medical conditions.

Urgent care fills the gap between primary care and hospital emergency departments, offering increased convenience and cost savings. Urgent care is a convenient and viable option for medical conditions that cannot wait for a scheduled appointment with a primary care physician, including:

  • Minor illnesses, including cold, coughs, infections and allergic reactions
  • Minor injuries, including sports-related injuries, small lacerations and burns
