Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Daughters of Penelope Narcissus Chapter 289 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL!! Our Christmas Bingo was a success with 33 attendees held on Friday, December 11, 2020.
It was a Christmas theme, some of our players with unique holiday hats and attire! We played 8 bingo games including 3 regular games, 3 Wise Men, a Star, a Manger and 2 coveralls. Christmas music playing in the background too! Gift cards were won from Outback, Amazon, Target, Panera, McDonald’s and Starbucks. Fun for everyone! Our fabulous Bingo Caller Mona Monezis Kapakos made the game fun! You are the best!
We have donated over $1,300 from the Bingo games to St. Demetrios. A great way to help the church, have fun and make new friends. Not only members of our community, but friends we have locally and from New York and New Jersey!!

In attendance were DOP Grand Secretary and Liaison to Citrus District 2 Georgette Boulegeris, Citrus District 2 Lt. Governor Eftyhia Kirkiles, Secretary Ann Pirrello and Treasurer Dorothy Xanos. We were also joined by Past District Governor Ourania Stephanides and AHEPA District 6 Secretary Chris Pappis. It was an honor to have you with us.
We thank everyone for playing and for your support! On Friday, February 12, 2021, at 7:30 pm we will have a Virtual Valentine’s Day Bingo!! Lots of prizes and lots of fun all for the benefit of St. Demetrios. Please join us!! Everyone is welcome!!
