“We are implementing a series of actions aiming to create equal opportunities at work,” government spokesperson Yiannis Economou posted on Twitter.
“The World Bank, with the actions already implemented until today, has included Greece in the group of 12 countries worldwide with full legal equality of women and men,” he underlined.
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis spoke, among others, about facilitating greater participation by women in the labour market in a debate in the context of the “Equal Opportunities at Work” Conference organised by the Labour and Social Affairs Ministry and the Public Employment Service.
