I close my posts regarding Elder Philotheos Zervakos with this piece of wisdom, which I think is timely.
Elder Philotheos once wrote this to a prime minister of Greece:
“It is clearly proven, that when the Hellenic army and people are united and beloved, it performs miracles, but when it is divided, in discord and without love then it is destroyed. I believe and hope in God, if we repent sincerely, and love God with our whole soul and become His friends, He will help us and will crush our enemies as the potters vessel, and will glorify Greece which He destined to live and which shall live…”
