On Sunday, November 30, 2015, The Epirotes Society of Philadelphia honored two exceptional individuals at their Annual Luncheon-Meeting. The event took place at the Adelphia Restaurant and Catering in Deptford, NJ. More than 50 Members and their families attended the event. Dr. George Ahtaridis, a professor of the University of Pennsylvania, a prominent Doctor and leader in our community was honored for his services. George Agatsiotis one of the most important members of Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Upper Darby, a tireless worker for the common good and a friend of many Epirotes due to his heritage. Vasilis Keisoglou, president of the Society presented the commemorative plaques to the honorees in front of a cheering crowd.
