Europe’s “most advanced medicinal cannabis processing plant will start operating at Corinthia in July,” said Deputy Development & Investments Minister Christos Dimas in social media on Tuesday.
Dimas’ announcement followed his meeting with Tykun Europe Managing Director Nikos Beis, as mentioned in the minister’s tweet.
“The company’s investment at Kria Vrisi, in Corinthia, exceeds 40 million euros and will create more than 120 jobs to begin with, many of which in research and innovation,” added Dimas.
The plant’s facilities “are almost completed, ahead of the opening next month,” he noted.
