Greek Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias congratulated his newly appointed Israeli counterpart Eli Cohen, and wished him every success in his new duties in a tweet on Tuesday.
Speaking with Cohen on the phone, Dendias said in his tweet that he had a “fruitful exchange of views on further deepening strategic Greece-Israel cooperation, scheduling future meetings, and developments in the Eastern Mediterranean.”
