Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan had a cordial meeting in Athens on Thursday, in the context of a visit by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the 5th Greece-Turkiye High-level Cooperation Council taking place in the Greek capital.
Gerapetritis had earlier met the Turkish president when he landed at Athens’ Eleftherios Venizelos airport.
