“The ‘progressive’ government of Mr Tsipras translates into a new tax extermination of the citizens, as Mr. Dragasakis clearly announced just a few days ago. It translates into the return of chaos in migration, as evidenced by the attempt of Mr. Papadimoulis to prevent, through the EU, the extension of the fence on Evros. It translates into institutional disrespect, when Mr. Tsipras has by his side two of his former ministers who have been irrevocably condemned,” government spokesman Yiannis Economou said on Sunday, commenting on the position of Alexis Tsipras in Elefsina.
“The Greece of 2023 is completely different from that of 2015-19, in every way. Greece is moving forward and the citizens are not looking back at the burdensome past,” he added.
