Greece responded on Wednesday to the basic points the European Commission made on the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) 2023-2027 Strategic Plan.
In a ten-page letter, Secretary General for Agricultural Policy and International Relations at the Agricultural Ministry Kostas Baginetas underlined the Greek government’s commitment to “continue negotiations with all social and economic partners and environmental organizations even during the new CAP’s implementation phase.
The secretary general also said Greece was committed to finalizing and approving the CAP by September 2022.
A draft of the plan was released for public consultation in September 2021
