Vaccinations of a third dose against coronavirus for everyone will be possible by the end of the year, while the relevant decisions are expected to be taken very soon, government spokesperson Yannis Economou said on Wednesday.
Economou also stressed that the relevant discussion is underway in the committee of health experts, and added – referring to the announcements of freedoms for vaccinated people that are expected to be made by the health minister – that vaccinated citizens who are protected against the disease are and should be entitled to have full privileges for a normal life.
“Vaccinated people should not be subject to restrictions other than those that apply to everyone, such as the use of a mask,” said Economou, adding that in a pandemic one must monitor developments and each decision has its own risks.
