I am writing because I would like to kindly request your assistance in a project that the Greek Music Ensemble, is bringing to life.
We are in the process of creating, recording, and producing a double CD dedicated to the music of Manos Hadjidakis and Mikis Theodorakis.
This is a unique and original project in the history of Greek music in the United States and we feel very proud that we have managed to recreate from scratch all the material, including new and unique arrangements of the music, as well as an overall aesthetic approach that represents, we believe, the true spirit of Greek music and culture.
We have launched a Kick Starter fundraising campaign in order to be able to handle the cost of the production of this CD and we would welcome your contribution, as well as your support in making this project known to your professional and social networks. We only have 18 days to meet our financial goal of $10,000 so every day counts and any help to spread the word is much appreciated!
We aspire to elevate Greek Art Music to the World Music Scene, so the project is targeting all audiences, Greek, Greek-American and international.
