Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis met on Tuesday with the State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Qatar Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, on the sidelines of the EU-Gulf Cooperation Council Ministerial Meeting in Muscat. The two ministers discussed regional developments.
After the conclusion of the Ministerial Meeting, Gerapetritis will go to Abu Dhabi where he will have a meeting with his UAE counterpart.
Gerapetritis also spoke on the phone with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry. The two ministers talked about the current situation in the region, as well as the latest developments.
Additionally, Gerapetritis spoke with the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Jordan Ayman Safadi. Their talks focused on the situation in the region, the latest developments and the need for a de-escalation of the crisis.
