Raising salaries is a main priority for New Democracy if it wins a second four-year term, party leader and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour on Tuesday evening.
In a brief interview, Mitsotakis expressed satisfaction with the country’s economic growth rate, which is higher than the European growth average.
If New Democracy forms a strong single-party government after runoff elections on June 25, the country will also be able to achieve investment-grade status, the Greek premier noted.
