A gift by the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation signed with the Hellenic Navy on Tuesday will upgrade the facilities of the Naval Hospital (Naftiko Nosokomio) in Athens.
The gift will help upgrade rooms in wing 3B, create spaces for a cardiology clinic, and create a wing for short-term hospitalization.
Signing the agreement were Foundation President and Rear Admiral (hon.) Panagiotis Laskaridis and Hellenic Navy General Staff chief Vice Admiral Stylianos Petrakis. The event was attended by National Defense Minister Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos, Deputy Minister Nikos Hardalias, chief of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff Constantine Floros, and staff of the Laskaridis Foundation.
