Understand the Soul of Greece by going to provincial cities. Family is strong. Three generations live together. I came across a statue dedicated to “Mother and Child” in 2022 Tripoli, Greece. It lies in Areos Square.
The statue inscription says “This area is dedicated by the wise decision of the Tripoli City Council, after support b the Mayor’s office – T. Sehiotis. I Interviewed legendary Arcadian hero in 2012.
The dedication inscription says “the beautiful Mother is the archangel of our lives, preserving generations and is in the hearts of men”. Perfect, making a strong statement of preserving family values.
