“It is a cowardice. “He is hiding behind pretexts”, Al said about Mr. Mitsotakis. Tsipras asked about the Prespa Agreement and the ratification of the pending memoranda of cooperation.
“It is obvious to everyone that he fought an agreement which he obviously believed, he fought hypocritically to take advantage of a current of that time and today he does not dare to bring to the Parliament the ratification of three memoranda which do not concern anything negative, but something very positive. “For the country, the defense of the airspace of Northern Macedonia from the Greek warplanes and the others are agreements of economic content”, he stressed and stated that Turkey benefits from this.
He pointed out that “our northern neighbors must implement the part that concerns them in relation to brands, their textbooks, their sports clubs” and commented: “Who will force them to implement these when you do not dare to you ratify three memoranda because you have a Parliamental Group that you are afraid you will lose. “So weak and so cowardly.”
He also commented that in the speech and press conference of Mr. Mitsotakis last week the words “Northern Macedonia” were never heard, while he underlined that the implementation of the Agreement is for the benefit of both sides.
