The platform of the Hellenic Development Bank (HDB) received over 3,000 requests in one week for investment funding, HDB CEO Ismini Papakyrillou said on Tuesday in Thessaloniki.
The applications were received for the first stage of HDB’s TEPIX III Loans Fund to provide small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with investment and special-purpose working capital loans on very favorable terms.
Papakyrillou revealed the data during an event organized by the Greek Exporters Association (SEVE), the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and HDB.
“The TEPIX III program builds on the success of previous programs TEPIX I and II, offering a comprehensive funding proposal to SMEs, whether they need working capital or are looking for funding support for their investment plans. They guarantee extremely favorable funding terms, with significant interest-rate subsidies, high rates of cofunding or guaranteeing, a long grace period, and long-term loans,” Papakyrillou added.
