Prime Minister and New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis participated on Saturday morning in the proceedings of the second day of the conference of the leaders of the European People’s Party, which was organized in Athens.
According to sources at the working breakfast, the leaders continued their discussion on the challenges facing the members of the European Union, with an emphasis on the search for common solutions and best practices for the benefit of society and the real economy.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis then had a bilateral meeting with the president of Spain’s People’s Party (PP), Alberto Nunez Feijoo.
Issues of common interest to the Southern European countries were discussed, while Nunez Feijoo expressed a strong interest in the mix of fiscal policies that the Greek government has followed in order to achieve high rates of growth, while simultaneously supporting society and reducing unemployment.
