Private building activity jumped 61.2% in October 2021, Hellenic Statistical Authority said. More specifically, building permits issued in October totaled 2,116 representing 512.7 thousand m2 in surface and 2.351 thousand m3 in volume, increases of 19.2%, 43.1% and 61.2%, respectively compared with the corresponding month in 2020.
In the January-October period, private building activity grew 26.1% in permits, 52% in surface and 47.3% in volume in comparison with the same period in 2020.
