Q: Can you give us an example of your work?
A: In response to a request in March, I undertook the task of sourcing compact drives (CDs) for the purpose of file backup on behalf of contractors located in Ukraine. This directive emerged due to the requirement of specific institutions to securely manage and relocate their digital data. The prevailing challenge at that time revolved around the situation wherein Russian electromagnetic waves had led to the deletion of Ukrainian files stored on local hard drives. To ensure the safe and efficient transfer of their data, it became evident that a reliance on legacy technology was necessary, given the ongoing risks associated with contemporary cloud solutions in handling sensitive information. Consequently, I initiated the process of identifying and procuring the requisite CD units. An additional complexity arose due to the urgency of the delivery timeline, necessitating the selection of a European manufacturing partner to expedite the shipment process, as opposed to seeking suppliers in Asia.
