Sani/Ikos Group on Thursday announced the purchase of a land area of more than 200,000 sq.m. in the bay of Kissamos, Chania, to build the first hotel complex under the brand name of Ikos Resorts in Crete.
The five-star hotel Ikos Kissamos will have 400 rooms, bungalows and villas stretching in a seaside area of 600 metres. Building will begin in 2023 and the operation of the hotel is expected in May 2025. The project has a budget of more than 125 million euros and will create more than 750 new job positions.
