The Board of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels met today with the Minister of Tourism, Vassilis Kikilias. During the meeting were discussed in detail the challenges of the current situation for the Greek hotel and the prospects for the recovery of Greek hospitality.
In his statement, the president of the Chamber, Mr Alexandros Vasilikos underlined that the restart does not automatically mean recovery, noting the strong differences that exist mainly in terms of the continuous operation of hotels in the cities and the mountainous volume of the country. The President also referred to the need for long-term planning for Greek hospitality in the areas of sustainability, digital transformation, quality, the creation of new infrastructure and the upgrading of human resources skills.
