Crozer-Keystone Health System will host a Fall Family Health Fair at Taylor Hospital, 175 E. Chester Pike in Ridley Park, from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 28. This free interactive health fair is open to the community and will take place in the hospital lot at Chester Pike and Acres Drive (across from CVS).
Those in attendance will enjoy free flu shots, health education and screenings along with a family style cookout, music, balloon artist, moon bounce, face painting and more. John McCarthy, goalkeeper for the Philadelphia Union, will make a special appearance at the event from 10 to 11:30 a.m. (player subject to change based on availability). Children are invited to show off their Halloween costumes.
Registration is not required, and the event is weather permitting. Should inclement weather be forecasted during the event, an updated event status will be posted to the Crozer-Keystone Health System Facebook page (facebook.com/crozerkeystonehealthsystem) and www.crozerkeystone.org.
Taylor Hospital is a 105-bed hospital that admits more than 7,000 patients and receives more than 28,000 Emergency Department patients. The hospital features the Crozer Sleep Disorders Center, a customized Orthopedic Unit for patients, and comprehensive cardiac services.
