The completion of the trans-European transport network (TEN-T) is of key importance for the achievement of a truly effective single market, Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Christos Staikouras, said on Monday, in a statement on the sidelines of the EU Council of Ministers in Brussels.
Staikouras also pointed out that “Greece in the near future will claim significant resources from the existing and the new Connecting Europe Facility, in order to achieve the restructuring and improvement of the railway network, to strengthen trans-European transport and to improve the connection of the railway network with the country’s ports.”
