Today’s issue of the French newspaper Le Figaro is published with a great tribute to the National Opera. Le Figaro is the oldest French newspaper and today is the second most widely circulated in France.
The journalist of the newspaper Thierry Hillériteau visited the facilities of the National Opera in Athens and spoke, among others, with the Artistic Director of the Opera Mr George Koumentakis, the President of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Andreas Drakopoulos and the distinguished tenor Jonas Kaufman shortly before his concert at the Herodion Theater.
