Dear Editor:
As almost all of us, I “grew up Greek” as First Generation from immigrant parents, and followed the American Dream of conscience.
As almost all of them, my three sons “grew up Greek” as Second Generation, and followed the American Dream of conscience.
As most of them, my eight grandsons are “growing up Greek” as Third Generation, and are following the American Dream of conscience.
What the MTV “Growing Up Greek” travesty showed last night was a sick fantasy, but more in line with “Growing Up ‘American’ in the 21st Century,” with no American Dream conscience and with lawless behavior.
The American Hellenic Community is proud of its non-MTV false image, living the American Dream set by our Founding Fathers based on the “Empire of Reason” of the Classical Greeks, in establishing the “Empire of Reason” called AMERICA !
Shame on you MTV for misrepresenting our nation’s quality of life.
